I'm Missin Them

My niece and nephew were here last week for 5 days. We packed as much into those days as we possibly could.

Briana always as a few requests.

First, that we go to Starbucks for hot chocolate. When we lived in Tennessee my sister (their Mother) lived with us. The kids came up for the whole summer and that's when I introduced Briana to Starbucks. She likes to get her hot chocolate and then save the cups and use them at home for her drinks all day. :)



The next thing is that we do a "makeover" as she calls it. She likes to paint our toes and put on blush and lip gloss. Really, she'd put on a ton of make up if I let her but i don't. I tell her it looks way prettier to just wear a little and plus she doesn't need a bit of it.





And the last thing she always asks for is to go to the Mall for some girl time. Which is my favorite time with her. My sister has been in jail for 2 years now and the kids haven't seen her once. They have talked to her on the phone but that's it. It breaks my heart for her and them.



It was so great when the weekend came so we could all hang with U. Jared. We took the kids to the M&M store.







Had lots of Nerf Wars!



And hit up the ice cream truck.



I'm missin them already. Looking forward to our next visit!!

Girls Night and Bangs

A couple nights ago, Jamie, Briana and I decided to go have a girls night out. We came up with the idea at last minute but still in time to go have pedicures! Probably one of my most favorite things to do! I LOVE having my feet rubbed and then getting my toes painted in some pretty OPI color! :) I am so bummed that I didn't bring along my camera but I do have proof of the pretty toes!

That same day Briana decided she wanted some bangs cut. It looked to me like she had already given herself a little trim but she insists that she didn't. So instead of catching her in the bathroom with have of her hair cut off we decided to go ahead and grant her wish! Here she is with her new bangs! Just as cute as ever! :)

Jared, Andon and Jordan will be having a boys night here soon so hopefully I can get Jared to take the camera along!
