Superhero Birthday Bash

Yesterday we had Andon's 7th birthday party! His birthday is actually November 4th but he will be having surgery on November 2nd so we decided to celebrate early this year. It was SO much fun!! He invited 7 of his little buddies over for a superhero themed birthday party. He decided this year that he wanted it "boy's only" but at last minute was having a little change of heart about one of his sweet girl friends. :)

One by one the superheros started showing up. When everyone was here we started the games. The first game we played was Pin the S on the Superman cape.

After that all the Superheros went out onto our balcony and took turns throwing water balloons at the villain (Jared) down below. I think they really liked that game! :)

Then we headed out to the garage to take turns beating up the Batman pinata.

Next it was time to come in and sing "Happy Birthday" to Andon. Once we started singing he sat there watching everyone with the biggest grin. It was so cute watching him just soak it up. I wish I had a picture of it but I was too busy watching him to take any. I have the picture in my head though and i'll never forget it. I sure do love my boy! :)

After that we decided to take the superheros out to take a picture of each one of them doing their best pose. That was one of my favorite parts of the party! The boys were so cute!! Here's Hulk striking his most scariest pose.

If you want to see them all you can click on my facebook link on the left sidebar. I put a birthday photo album on my profile. :)

And here's the whole gang!

The party was a blast and afterwards he had a couple of his friends sleepover. It was the perfect way to celebrate Andon turning 7!

Andon,

You are the most unique and fun little boy I know. You make me laugh daily with the things you come up with! Daddy and I are so thankful for the gift of you. Having you has taught me so much about the important things in life. My perspective continues to change and I am grateful. I look forward to watching you grow in the coming years. I look forward to what God has for you! I love you so much sweet boy!

Love, Mama
